There is no rule about which of the 3D dogs or other animals should accompany a certain Persona Doll but some of them just seem to suit each other’s character so well.
Of course they can be all be found on Sprite’s Site so Sprite can be seen with varying combinations.
The animal characters on Sprite’s Site are described at https://spritessite.wordpress.com/about-the-characters/

Here are some of the other friendships I have noticed.

Miranda the Successful is a perfectionist but not not to the point that it causes problems for her so she is often seen with the White Perfectionist Poodle

Edward the Autonomous Learner is very happy in the company of Intellectual Dabrowski.

Felicity the Underground (Don’t notice me) Gifted student has a nondescript little dog of her own but often Chicquita Cheetah (a friend of Columbus Cheetah) will be found encouraging her to be brave enough to demonstrate her giftedness.

Michaela the Creative is often to be seen with Caramel Cat, Imaginational Dabrowski and the colourful Happy Anteater.

Vincent (Vince) the At Risk Gifted student often spends time with the scruffy, itchy Sensual Dabrowski because the both appreciate beauty and are very aware of sights, sounds, scents and textures.

The Country Kids, Adam and Evelyn both love animals.
Evelyn has a little pet dog as well as many other animals.
